La Santa, Lanzarote, Canary Island. 2022

Jumping between lines is a participatory art project that was born as a response to the massive arrival of immigrants to the coasts of Lanzarote, in the Canary Island in 2022. The idea was to create an encounter through participatory painting on the town’s football field. Using the international codes of sea signals, we jointly created a design where a great look merged with these signals.

The participatory work helped to demystify prejudices and created dynamics of meetings between locals and foreigners.
